Get found by the people already searching for you.
I run SEO as a monthly partnership, one person, not an agency. I work with local businesses, UK-wide firms, and online shops. Whether your customers search from down the street, across the UK, or further away, the job is the same. Show up when they look, and give them a reason to choose you.
One person, not an agency
Local, UK-wide, and international
Direct access, no middlemen
Honest timelines, no jargon
the usual problem
If you have paid for SEO before, this might sound familiar
Six months, and nothing happened
Not because SEO does not work. Because the last company chased broad terms nobody local actually searches, instead of the ones that bring you work.
A contract you could not understand
Twelve months, a vague list of work, and a cancellation clause nobody reads until they need it.
A report nobody opens
Twenty pages of charts once a month. No call, no plan, no person who picks up the phone.
A new account manager every few months
You explain your business again, from scratch, to someone who has never seen it.
who it’s for
Three kinds of business, one way of working
SEO is not one thing. What you need depends on where your customers are and how they search. I work across all three. Tell me which one is you in the free roadmap, and the plan is built around it.
You are a local business.
A trade, clinic, salon, studio, or firm that wins customers in and around Edinburgh. The focus is local: the Google Maps results, “near me” searches, your Google Business Profile, and content about the areas you serve, from Leith to Morningside.
You serve the whole UK.
A consultant, professional firm, or service business whose clients could be anywhere. The focus moves to national search: ranking for your service terms across the country, building real trust through content, and earning the links that competitive terms need.
You sell online or work abroad
A shop, or a business reaching customers outside the UK. The focus is product and buyer search: category and product pages that rank, buyer-intent keywords, and the technical setup that bigger sites need.
Most businesses are mainly one of these, with a bit of another. The roadmap shows where your effort should go.

What changes when there is no agency in the middle
I do the keyword research. I write the page. I check the rankings. There is no handover between departments, because there are no departments. What I quote is what you pay, and what I say I will do is what gets done. There is nobody else to blame.
It also means I am honest about how much I can take on. I keep a small number of retainer clients at a time, so the ones I take on get the hours they pay for.
And because I am also a WordPress developer, the technical fixes that need real development, like speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, and safe migrations, are done by me directly. No waiting on another developer to action them.
how it’s set up
SEO runs as a monthly partnership
Search builds up over time, not in one burst. So the work is monthly. You can bring your own site, or have one built as part of it. Either way, the first step is the same: a free roadmap.
Already have a site?
Bring it, and I run the search side as a monthly partnership. Care, updates, and backups are built in. No separate maintenance fee.
Need a site too?
On the 12-month plan, the build is included. One monthly price covers both, and the site is planned for search from day one, not fixed later.
About commitment
There is a 6-month minimum, because local and national SEO really do take that long to show real movement. After the first six months you can cancel any time with 30 days notice. No contract that rolls on by itself, no exit fees. Whatever I build, your site, your content, your profile, is yours.
timelines
How long until it works
I will not promise page one in 30 days, because nobody can. Here is the real picture.
Local and lower-competition searches
First movement in 3 to 4 months, real results by 6 months.
Competitive or national terms
Solicitors, accountants, anything UK-wide: 8 to 18 months to fully land.
You will always know which group you are in before you sign. It is in your roadmap.
the plans
Three plans. One clear commitment.
Each plan is a full monthly service, not a one-off audit. Pick the one that fits where your business is now. The roadmap will suggest one.

Why the price is set by SEO level, not site size.
What moves rankings is research, content, and technical hours, not how many pages you have. A small site in a tough market can need more work than a big site in an easy one.
the detail
What you actually get each month
01
Strategy and keyword research
Every month starts with the same question: what are your customers searching for, and are you showing up for it? I track your main keywords, review what moved and what dropped, and where new chances appeared. Then I turn it into a clear note, not a spreadsheet you have to decode.
02
Better, clearer pages
Your homepage and service pages are improved across the year. Tighter wording, clearer buttons, set up around how customers decide. Better copy turns more of your current traffic into real enquiries, so it is part of the plan, not an extra.
03
Content, articles, and images
Content is built around real searches, not random topics. You do not write anything. I handle the research, writing, and publishing. You only approve the final draft. Every article gets a custom, optimised image, not stock, and it is shared on your social channels on the day it goes live. This is the work that builds up over time.
04
On-page and technical SEO
Titles, meta, headings, internal links, schema, site speed, crawling, and indexing. Reviewed and, on Growth and Performance, fixed directly. Pages that worked in month two often need updating by month seven. I adjust as the data comes in, not just at the start.
05
Local, where it applies
For local businesses, the Google Maps results often bring more enquiries than the website itself. So your Google Business Profile, your business details, and your local signals are kept clean. For UK-wide and online businesses, that effort goes where it pays off instead.
06
AI and answer engines
AI search is changing how people find businesses. Your pages are set up with clear, correct, well-marked-up information, so AI answers and assistants can understand and quote you. Part of being found now, not a gimmick.
07
Reports
One clear document a month
who’s doing the work

One person, from start to finish
I’m Moji, based in Edinburgh, running MSKWEB as a one-person business on purpose. No team to manage means no time lost managing one. I work hands-on with every client, from the first keyword to the monthly report. If something is not working, you hear it from me, not from an account manager reading a script. And I keep a small number of retainer clients at once, so the businesses I take on get the hours they pay for.

No. Local SEO is one of three lanes: local, UK-wide, and international or online shops. I am based in Edinburgh, but a lot of the work is national and online. The roadmap matches the plan to where your customers are.
Yes, a 6-month start, because SEO needs that long to show real movement. After that you can cancel any time with 30 days notice.
Yes, and it is changing, not going away. AI answers and assistants are becoming another place customers find businesses. The same basics that rank you, clean structure, correct information, real content, are what get you quoted there too. I build for both.
No. Hosting and your domain are paid straight to the providers, about £60 to £120 a year in total, never marked up. The retainer covers SEO work.
